PREGNANCY PHOTOGRAPHY IN SHREWSBURY

EMPOWERING. BEAUTIFUL. REAL.

Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth baby, the end of pregnancy is a time just before things are going to change in a big way. Capturing that for yourself, how you felt at that moment, is a really powerful thing for you to look back on in years to come.

Please email me to see more full galleries of pregnancy photos.

What will the photos be like?

I am leaning away from traditional studio photography and more towards artistic and natural photographs, that capture both your bump and you in your preferred setting.

Where?

My favourite place to do these photographs is in your own home. It’s your space, your world and your nest … and also where your new little one will be spending a lot of time! Most importantly though I find this is where women are more comfortable and therefore relaxed which is key to getting those beautiful photographs.

When?

I find the best time is 30 - 34 weeks, where the tummy is lovely and large but you still have some energy left!

Who?

You (obviously!) and if you have a partner or other child/children who would like to be involved in a couple that is also great. Becoming a sibling can be a super exciting thing and capturing that connection can be really special.

How does it work?

The shoot will revolve around you feeling safe, relaxed and held as I document you as you are in that moment in time. I take things nice and slow, focusing on places in the home that have great light and you find comfortable to be in.

What do I wear?

All or nothing, or a bit of both - totally up to you! If you want to be fully clothed that is absolutely fine or if you would like some that capture your skin as well that is more than okay as well. You can decide on exactly how you feel on that day and there’ll never be any pressure either way!

How do I book?

Send me an email to hello@florencefox.com and we can have an initial phone chat, or meet up if you are local. Then we look at booking in a time and date slot, and I will send over over some information about what to prepare so you know exactly how things will work.
